Volunteer and Make a Difference at Bexar County Correctional Facility

Are you looking for a meaningful way to contribute to your community? Volunteering at the Bexar County Correctional Facility is an excellent way to do just that. The Bexar County Sheriff's Office is always looking for volunteers to help with booking agents and other tasks. Booking agents are volunteers who must commit to a minimum of 16 hours of service per month in support of the Bexar County Sheriff's Office. If you are interested in paid tasks, you may need to complete additional hours of volunteer work.

The Sheriff's Reserve also provides an opportunity for those with full-time jobs outside of law enforcement to volunteer their time to the Bexar County Sheriff's Office. If you are interested in obtaining a marriage license, contact the Bexar County Clerk's Office at (2) 335-2221 or visit the County Clerk's website for more information.
